Do you wanna be an online reader?

January 7, 2015

If so, you’re in luck!  The library has started an online book club at Goodreads.com and we need your input!  To get started go to Goodreads.com, create a free account, and search for High Point Public Library Online Readers (https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/152127-high-point-public-library-online-readers) under Groups.  The first book we’ll read is Guests on Earth and the discussion will begin in February.  The rest is up to you, so be sure to answer our reading interest poll.

Also, the library is participating in the Literary Classics Online Book Club, where 6 classics will be discussed during 2015.  They are starting with Hamlet and the book discussion will also begin in February, but you can get started now.  Here’s the link for this group: http://tlcobc.wordpress.com/

We hope to read with you online!
