Storytime Programs

All storytime programs are held in the Library Storyroom. Please try to arrive on time.  Please call 336-883-3666 for more information.


Book Babies - February 2, 9, & 16 at 10:00 in the StoryroomA storytime program for ages birth to 11 months.

Book Worms - February 3, 10, & 17 at 10:00 in the Storyroom.  A storytime program for ages 12 months to 23 months.

Time for Two's - February 3, 10. & 17 at 11:00 in the Storyroom.  A storytime program for 2-year olds.

Morning Preschool Storytime - February 5, 12, & 19 at 11:00 in the Storyroom. A storytime program for 3-5 year olds.

Afternoon Preschool Storytime - February 2, 11, & 18 at 2:00 in the Storyroom. A storytime program for 3-5 year olds.

    Occasionally we have musicians, animal shows, acrobats, jugglers, magicians, storytellers etc. come to the library for a special show. Or we might offer a holiday program, a carnival, bingo or some other fun event for kids.

    Upcoming Special Programs

    Hansel & Gretel in the Storyroom! - February 6, 3:00. Meet our  favorite groundhogs, Hansel and Gretel.  Also learn what you should do if you find an orphaned or injured wildlife animal such as a bird, squirrel, possum, turtle or groundhog.  Members of the Piedmont Wildlife Rehab organization will be on hand to teach what to do in case of a wildlife emergency.This program is recommended for elementary school age children.  No registration is required.

    Meet Donna and Susie! - February 14, 2:00 in the Storyroom
    Donna will share her inspirational story and since it will be Valentine’s Day, children can make special Valentines for Susie.

    Movies

    Movie for Kids – Susie's Hope  February 7 at 2:00 in the Storyroom.

    Based on the true story of Donna Lawrence and Susie--High Point’s own Hero Dog of the Year.  Susie and Donna will introduce the movie!
