Monday, April 28th, 6:30—7:45 pm Morgan Community Room, 1st Floor, Library Larry Cates presents this program on the use of land records in genealogy, focusing on various American land-related sources including state and federal land grants, title deeds, deeds of trust, and land litigation. He explores how land was conveyed and how and when these instruments were recorded. He explores the implications of various land record categories for genealogists. No pre-registration required.
