This workshop is designed for closet writers of fiction and nonfiction and those who carry stories around in their heads and hearts but aren't sure how to take that vision and translate it into words. Participants will research, organize, develop, write, and edit a story. During this workshop, participants will: Learn how to develop the basic story outline. Learn techniques for creating well-defined characters. Learn how to create a sacred space for writing. Each session will begin with a one hour presentation, and writers who wish can stay for two hours of focused writing and individual help with your own story. For maximum benefit, please plan to attend all six sessions. Bring a writing tablet and pens or pencils.
